Karen Glass, Teller of Tales

."Karen Glass, storyteller extraordinaire. Whether fact based or fantasy, her stories are delightful, warm, and deep. And her dynamic and image rich delivery really gets you to believe. She truly honors the art of storytelling. While working on the music for her latest project we often found ourselves, after many, many listens, still captivated by the stories and anxiously wanting to know what happens next, as though hearing them for the first time! The mark of a great story - it never gets old!"

-Too Human, after writing the Music for this CD

Karen's latest CD grew out of her dream to share tales of the trails with those who love the Adirondacks. Some of the stories are old and others are folktales that seem to fit the life style of the mountain people.

Her friends Ellen and Roger listened to each story and created the music surrounding based on their interpretation. The combination of spoken word and melody is magic!

2. Nikita, lost and found on Colden

3. Matilda at Avalanche Pass

4. The Troll on Bear Pond

Karen's first CD was produced at Esperance Studios in Red Creek, NY by Dan Duggan in June of 2005. Dan's original music on dulcimer and guitar can also be heard introducing and closing stories on the CD.
